The New 2024 Ford Expedition

In the past, nice exteriors often hid disappointing cabins. Not so in the 2024 Ford Expedition! Step inside its welcoming interior, which Ford designed for space and comfort. Behind the first row, a cavernous 104.6 cubic feet of cargo volume awaits. The second row still leaves 63.6 cubic feet. And if you use all three rows, 20.9 cubic feet remain to pack necessities.

Choose from soft cloth or available leather in colors suiting your style. Heated and ventilated front seats plus heating for the second row coddle passengers. Want even more legroom? If you're going on an adventure, you need a ride that can handle anything you throw at it. Under the hood, a 3.5L EcoBoost engine generates 400 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque - plenty of power for mountain passes. The Timberline model steps it up to 440 horses and 510 lb-ft of twist.

Shifting duties fall to a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission to optimize performance. Next, we have towing. The 4x4 Expedition can haul up to 9,200 lbs. with the available Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package.

These days, technology is a big part of any road trip. You want your tunes, your directions, and your connections to keep up with your adventures. The new 2024 Ford Expedition delivers on that front with a Bang & Olufsen sound system pumping tunes through 22 speakers and a subwoofer!

The Special Edition Package amps up style with LED fog lamps and 20-inch bright machined aluminum wheels with Dark Carbonized Gray painted pockets. Otherwise, expect 18-inch machined rims and a hands-free liftgate to simplify loading. Finally, SiriusXM Radio with 360L plays ad-free music, sports, comedy, and news coast-to-coast.

Reach luxury territory in Limited trim! Connected navigation services span three years instead of one. And the introduction of adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go lets you automatically adjust speed to maintain your distance from other vehicles. You also get Intelligent Access with push-button start and remote start features. A wireless charging pad makes an appearance.

The sound system gets a boost with a B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen, featuring 12 speakers including a subwoofer. It's great to use with HD Radio technology. The seats go from cloth to leather-trimmed, and both front seats are heated and ventilated. And the second row gets heated seats too. Speaking of the second row, it now has Power-Folding Tip and Slide Captain's Chairs.

The driver's seat gets even fancier with a 10-way power adjustment and memory for pedals and mirrors. Ambient lighting sets the mood with gentle interior illumination. You may also opt for the MAX alternative for this trim level. On the outside, you get a 20-inch Bright Chrome Bars with Painted Ebony Black Mesh grill. And up top, there's that Panoramic Vista Roof we talked about earlier.

The Timberline trim is known across the Ford Lineup for being off-road-ready. In this case, it receives the high-output EcoBoost engine generating 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque to conquer trails. It also has Rough Road Suspension and skid plates to protect the underside when you're exploring rocky terrain.

The blacked-out styling looks rugged, and it is applied to the 18-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, dual exhaust, and front tow hooks. Incandescent tail lamps and unique badging signal the Ford Timberline's outdoor spirit. In addition, off-roading is elevated through front and rear scuff plates, fuel tank underbody protection, and heavy-duty engine radiator cooling.

Inside, ActiveXTM seats wear resilient Heathered cloth with Deep Tangerine stitching. Finally, you get zone lighting to control the exterior lights in different zones around the vehicle.

The King Ranch is so fancy it's hard to believe it's not the top trim level! On the outside, you get LED reflector headlamps and LED signature lighting that really make your new 2024 Ford Expedition stand out. The grill is unique, too, with bright chrome bars and Painted Stone Grey Mesh with chrome inserts.

As for the wheels, they are now 22-inch 6-Spoke Polished Aluminum with a special King Ranch center cap. Ford's most advanced SYNC 4A interface spans a 15.5-inch touchscreen plus a 12.4-inch productivity display. Unique front and rear floor mats tout the King Ranch logo.

There's nothing finer than Platinum trims! Satin aluminum and chrome accents surround this top-tier SUV. Signature lighting illuminates running boards, door handles, and the liftgate. Next, continuous controlled damping (CCD) suspension instantly firms up for responsive handling.
